Our Story

Michael and Denise Redman were both born and raised in the Southwest OKC/Moore area. They met while in the Moore High School Band and dated for 5 years. They have been married for 18 years and have 3 biological daughters, Emily-17, Katie-13 and Julianna-9. They live in Moore, OK where Denise is a stay at home mom and has homeschooled their daughters for 10 years. She also has a home-based business as a jeweler with Premier Designs Jewelry and has been doing this for 5 years. Michael currently works for Midfirst Bank as a Bank Operations Supervisor. He has been in the banking industry for over 19 years. Their family has attended First Baptist Church of Moore for over 20 years. Throughout their married life, Michael and Denise casually talked about adopting but were busy raising their 3 daughters and going through life's experiences. It was not until recently that the Lord spoke to their hearts to seriously consider adoption when hearing about the Eliproject, an adoption ministry developed by friends at their church. After prayer and discussing it with their daughters they decided unanimously to pursue the calling of opening their hearts and home to a child in need of a forever family. The word of the Lord that was spoken to Michael's heart on the evening that the familly committed to adopt comes from Matthew 25:40 "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for Me".

Our New Adventure

Our Family has started a new chapter in our life!!

We have been called and are very excited about adopting a 10 year old boy named "Victor" from Eastern Europe. We hope to have him home sometime this coming summer. We are in the beginning process of all the paperwork and raising money to bring him home.

Our first steps are to have our homestudy, application completed and get our passports done. These steps cost a substantial amount of money that we had not planned for since the call to adopt has been a quick one. We had not looked into adoption before now and we felt our family was complete. Last Saturday God spoke to us and the journey began. I would love to share the story with each and every one of you and hope I get to as the time goes on.

If you feel led to help us financially at this time by being a big part of bringing little Victor home, please contact us at ddredman@att.net. If you would like to donate at a later time you can go to www.eliproject.com and specify for "The Redman Family & Victor". We will have new posts as the days go on. We are looking forward to the days ahead to see what God will do. He has already blessed us in so many ways and we can't wait to share our journey with all of you!!
